20 m Inland Passenger Vessel

Following a previous successful collaboration, Pratt Naval Architecture were again pleased to be approached by well-known UK builder Colecraft to design a new passenger vessel to their client, Canal and River Tours of Stratford upon Avon.

Specific requirements included taking advantage of soon-to-be updated rules allowing greater number of passengers and complying with restricted draught and air draught.

The design was prepared to take anticipate and take full advantage of the forthcoming new addition of  MCA regulations.  A comprehensive package of drawings was assessed and approved by MCA.

Pratt Naval Architecture supervised the stability test, witnessed by MCA and following successful trials, MCA awarded a Passenger Ship Certificate.

After 5 successful years, the owners returned to Pratt Naval Architecture for advice and assistance with proposed modifications and MCA approvals.
