38m SAGA CRUISE BARGE
Pratt Naval Architecture were tasked by our client to prepare a design for a new cruising barge destined for European waterways.
Over a period of some years, the design was developed, growing in scale over time to 38 metres.
The resulting concept was for a twin-screw electric hybrid-propulsion vessel with a large airy passenger saloon, open forward deck and crew accommodation.
Pratt Naval Architecture carefully considered issues including disabled access, damage stability and propulsion powering and were delighted when the vessel attained its predicted speeds under different modes of propulsion.
